Driving barefoot is safer than driving while wearing footwear

A bare foot can quickly feel, grab onto, and press a brake pedal - much safer and more efficiently than a shod foot.

Flip-flops are the closest 'footwear' to actually being barefoot.

Please note: This article is not about extolling the virtues of flip-flops vs. other footwear for people who usually wear shoes. This article is for people who normally live barefoot, and in that context may occasionally need some temporary footwear when being barefoot may not be possible or practical.

Being barefoot is the most natural and healthiest way for humans to live, as the human foot was never designed to be be closed up in restrictive shoes. Barefoot hiking is fun and a good workout for the feet

Barefoot hiking is safe, fun, and kind to the earth.

Hiking is fun and great exercise, whether on a regular hiking trail or just out in the woods or wilderness on no trail at all. Some cities have posted misleading mask requirement signs

This sign posted by state of Michigan is not only misleading, it is a blatant lie. Wearing a shirt or shoes have nothing to do with wearing a mask, and they are NOT required by law.

The image at the top of this page is an example of the misleading signs being posted on a few official websites. This particular one is not only misleading, it is a blatant lie. There is no ‘law’ that requires a shirt or shoes, whether with a mask or otherwise.
